Born in Normandy, France, I grew up surrounded by horses and developed a passion for riding and teaching from an early age.
My desire to gain a deeper understanding of horses led me to Portugal, where I had the opportunity to join the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art in Queluz. This experience profoundly shaped my vision of horsemanship and allowed me to study the principles of classical equitation within a unique institution.
There, I had the privilege of working with Master Antonio Borba, whose teaching had a lasting influence on my approach to riding and training. I later continued my apprenticeship in Lisbon at Casal de Santo André, deepening my experience with the Lusitano horse and the Portuguese equestrian tradition.
After settling in Portugal, I continued my education with respected riders and trainers while developing my own approach to teaching.
About Me
Today, I help riders and their horses progress through an approach that combines the foundations of classical equitation with the needs of modern horsemanship.
Whatever your discipline, I believe that the principles of classical equitation provide a solid foundation for progress. From there, true development comes through a deeper communication between horse and rider. Every horse is unique, and I aim to adapt my teaching to the individual needs, sensitivity, and character of each partnership, in order to build greater understanding, clarity, and harmony.
